The 71st meeting of the Council for Rail Transport of CIS & Baltic States takes place in Minsk
The 71st meeting of the Council for Rail Transport of CIS & Baltic States is being held in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus.
A delegation led by the chairman of the “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC Javid Gurbanov is also taking part in the meeting.
At the event, the results of implementation of the Council’s 70th meeting decisions and operation of the railway network for 9 months of 2019, the results of the work done in the carriage of international passengers for 8 months of 2019, the results of the preparation of the schedule of trains for 2019-2020, the plan for the compilation of freight trains and containerized wagons, the results of the list of freight trains held in may 2019, the state of mutual settlements between railway administrations during 8 months of 2019, granting the status of assosiation member to the railway administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran, railway tariff policy for the international carriage of goods for the year 2020, scientific-research and practical-design work plan of Railway administrations is being discussed.
At the same time, the meeting participants estimate the costs of ensuring the activities of the Board of Directors for 2020, as well as the costs of ensuring the activities of the data-computing centers of railway administrations, including the replacement of the costs of the main Computing Center, a branch of the” Russian Railways ” OJSC, distribution of “Honorary railwayman” lapel badge in 2020, they will present their views on the date, place and agenda of the 72nd meeting of the Council.
A final protocol will be signed at the end of the meeting.
