ADY Express transports new types of cargo via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway
A subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, ADY Express LLC, has started transporting new types of cargo via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. This time, the company started to transport cargo from Turkey to different regions of Azerbaijan.
ADY Express, together with its partners in Turkey and Georgia, carried out the transportation of steel and plastic pipes, as well as concrete poles from Turkey to Azerbaijan.
250 tons of steel pipes were transported in 26 semi-wagons from Turkey to Ganja via Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
100 tons of plastic pipes were loaded on 11 platforms and transported from Turkey to Shamkir.
600 tons of concrete poles in 10 semi-wagons were delivered from Turkey to Absheron by the BTK.
The delivery time (transit time) of goods – 3 days. The goods were delivered from Turkey to the Georgian station of Akhalkalaki, where they continued on their way to Azerbaijan after replacing the wheels of the wagons.
It should be noted, that the transportation of such goods by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is expected to continue.
Thus, the opportunities created by the BTK railway make transportation faster, more convenient and safer, thereby creating excellent conditions for cargo owners.
