Azerbaijani railwaymen take part in Logitrans-2021 exhibition in Turkey
On November 10-12, 2021, the traditional international transport and logistics exhibition “Logitrans – 2021” will be held in Istanbul. Representatives of more than 250 companies from 50 countries of the world will take part in the exhibition. The event presented new technologies in the field of transport, transportation mechanisms, railway infrastructure, construction and new areas of logistics.
Subsidiaries of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, ADY Express and ADY Container are represented at the joint stand at the exhibition “Logitrans-2021”. The companies presented information about the achievements of Azerbaijan in the field of transport, transit opportunities and new projects. Representatives of Azerbaijan informed the participants about the benefits and opportunities of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars, Europe-Caucasus-Asia, North-South and other international transport corridors, passing through our country. Negotiations were held with shippers and large logistics companies in Turkey and other countries. Special attention was paid to the transportation of goods on international transit routes through the territory of Azerbaijan at bilateral meetings. Azerbaijani railwaymen invited representatives of international companies to use a wide range of services that offer in the field of cargo transportation.
Within the framework of the exhibition, bilateral meeting was held between representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish administrations and large cargo owners. During the talks, the current state and prospects of local projects were discussed. In particular, the focus was on attracting new types of cargo via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
It should be noted that there is a great interest to the current event due to the break in the exhibition during the pandemic. It is expected that the exhibition will be visited by more than 10,000 visitors.
